O'Douls

One time we snagged a six-pack of O'Douls from Circle A and boy, did we get hammered. I must've downed like a whole can all by myself. Chewy said he saw pink elephants and shit but I think he got that from watching cartoons. Joe kept giggling like a hyena and started hocking loogies, saying the alcohol gave it extra body and range. Yeah, we were total outlaws. Badasses. Even back then we knew we were destined for bigger and badder things. Like Zima.

Rules and Regulations...

Initially, I'd planned on making this a weekly essay. As it turns out, it's more a weakly written essay with the regularity of something that doesn't appear every week. Poor blogging skills is, I'm told, a sure road to obscurity. And Lord knows how much I want that. My goal here has always been to reach the safe as milk mainstream and to put a little love in your heart. In that order. So please, stand by and bare with the inconsistencies that is known as my attention span...

As it stands, I will use this space online to post random things from time to time... I welcome your comments as well as your criticism.

The tale of the five legged Tarantula.

I'm a computer technician at a major retail store and this is one of the many stories that I will be posting here in the near future.

I never knew that working Sundays would be horribly busy. All the technicians were busy currently running diagnostics and fixing computers. A customer walks up to the counter with his desktop in hand. Since all the techs were occupied, my manager decided to help the customer. "How can I help you today?" "Yeah I'm having problems with my computer not going into the OS (Operating System, meaning Windows or Mac OSX)" "OK well let me take a look at it" So my manager proceeds to plug the computer into one of the four systems that are at our counter. The moment he turns the machine on we all hear this weird buzzing and thumping sound. Out of reflex my manager unplugs the machine fearing that some wire got caught in a fan. As we all turned and watch, he takes a screw driver out of his pocket and takes the side panel off. As the panel slides off, a pissed off tarantula missing 3 legs jumps out towards him. Now my manager is a big guy, the size of a linebacker. It was the first time I have heard a grown man actually scream like a little girl. you know the type of scream that big guys make in many comedies. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him back into our cage room where we keep all the laptops. The customer then says, "Oh, that's where he went".

The customer was able to capture the Tarantula in a box that we provided him. Our manager didn't leave the laptop cage for a while and of course we taunted him about it until he threatened to cut our hours. That was a fun Sunday indeed =)

Welcome and Puppies

One of the goals of this blog for me is to catalog the many weird dreams that I have and the experiences of everyday life meaning that I'll be writing a lot of weird stuff in here. The other goal that I have set for this is that it will help me became a better person in ways that I'll be able to express myself better and learn from the experiences that I've been having. At least those are the primary goals =)

Welcome to my weird corner in the bloggersphere
